Skyline Participates in "Power of Being a Girl" Event

On Thursday October 19th, 2017, Skyliners attended the annual Power of Being a Girl Conference organized by the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph. This incredible event brings together 200 Grade 7 & 8 female students in Guelph & Wellington county, for a day of learning, empowerment and fun. Skyline empowered participants to take pride in themselves (Skyline's "PRIDE" values are Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Drive, and Efficiency) by taking a small Skyline mirror and writing what they were most proud of. We were thrilled to participate in this amazing event, and proud to support the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph in its initiatives to empower girls and women in our communities.
